Photo Gold from 2019 / Alabama Photographer

You know when someone asks you to name your top five favorite bands? Or even worse, your favorite songs? That sort of question puts a lump in my throat. It’s hard to choose because I have lots of “favorites”, and what I think of as my favorites today, might be different tomorrow. It’s a tough label because I feel like I’m going to leave something important out or make someone feel less than. When I was little I would feel guilty if I played with one toy longer than another. And it seemed I always had more dolls than clothes for the dolls, or at least clothes that I could find so I would have them take turns wearing them, and I felt terrible for the ones I’d left bare. My husband and I have a running joke about playing Gin Rummy, I have trouble discarding because my cards are “all my favorites.” I get attached to things easily. I’m sentimental. I feel high from a good photo session or wedding and fall in love with the photos when I edit them. It sounds dramatic, but it’s true. I’ve sat at my computer on more than one occasion while editing and cried because I find the images so beautiful. This was a rather long winded attempt at explaining that while I love looking over all the wonderful images from the year, it’s incredibly hard to choose the “best” ones. They’re all the best. Here’s a look at what I like to call Photo Gold from 2019. Enjoy! Trust me when I say THANK YOU! Without you there would be no Bang Images. I appreciate all the likes, shares, and continued support. 2019 was a year of growth, both in my personal life and in business. I’m grateful for the chance to wake up each day and do it all again, but hopefully even better.

This post features images from my most visited genres of photography-family sessions, portrait sessions, and weddings. Follow these links if you’d like to see more from particular galleries.
