Family Photos at Turkey Creek / Birmingham Photographer

I find it to be one of the highest compliments for clients to come back to me year after year for photographs! I’ve had the pleasure of working with this sweet family on three occasions and it’s so much fun to watch everyone grow and change; this year there was even a new addition to the family!

One of our favorite places to meet is Turkey Creek Nature Preserve in Pinson, Alabama. It is absolutely beautiful, especially in the fall. There are also some pretty great swimming possibilities with a wonderfully slippery rock for a little innertube fun for much warmer days. And since it’s not too far from home, I find myself there several times a year. One of the greatest things about using a photographer repeatedly is that you develop a relationship with them. You become comfortable being photographed by them and it’s more like hanging out with a friend that anything else. I realize some people want to sample different photographers much like you would try out a new restaurant or buy art from various talented people to display in your home. And that really does make sense in a way; but would you hire a different hair stylist, plumber, or mechanic each time you needed a professional? Probably not. Everyone’s different though, so you do you. But if I found someone I trusted, and I loved their work, I’d probably go back to them time and time again. That’s what makes family sessions like this one so special.

I love the rapport I have with this family and I look forward to many more images created and memories documented. I highly doubt these will be the last Family Photos at Turkey Creek by this Birmingham Photographer.
