I am a photographer of people influenced by an art background. Recently recognized as one of the Top 100 Photographers to Watch by Click Community (a national photography organization with international members), I am a family photographer and portrait photographer of individuals and couples, including Micro Weddings and small events. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography and an Art Education degree. I primarily photograph outdoors and use available light, and golden hour is my favorite time to photograph. I have an affection for free spirits and spunky children. I strive to create images that evoke an emotional response. Anyone can "take a pretty picture", but creating an intriguing image is the admirable challenge.
