Fall in Alabama is one of the most beautiful times of the year and my busiest time of year as a photographer. Families are especially interested in photos. I love it when I receive a Christmas or holiday card in the mail with photographs we created together!
I am an LGBTQIA+ Birmingham family photographer because I think everyone is deserving of love and the freedom to build the life they want. I’m overjoyed to document it!

If you’re a photographer reading this post, you’ll probably notice this gorgeous yellow tree from the entrance of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. It’s a popular spot for photography for good reason.

Just steps away from that fall wonder you’ll find a lovely gingko. If you time it just right, you’ll have a golden bed of leaves making a fun location for seated portraits.

I encourage families to play, laugh, talk, and yes, even dance with one another. It’s the carefree, natural moments that will make you smile when looking through your gallery. I’m also happy to photograph posed family portraits. This is your session and you should have the results you want.

This family was full of smiles and easy to photograph. I hope this was the beginning of a long relationship between family and photographer!
