Did you know that Bang Images photographs events? For yeeeears actually! I’ve photographed probably as many events as I have weddings. Birmingham event photography is just one area of photography that I enjoy. Please read ahead and thank you for visiting!
Creative Montessori School had their annual fundraiser at Bridge Street Gallery & Loft in Downtown Birmingham. It’s a beautiful, spacious location with two floors, which gives you plenty of room for food and dancing, and at this particular event, even a silent auction.
Creative Montessori School was a second home to me for fifteen years of my young adult life. I taught in the 4th-6th grade classroom. The Montessori Method proved time and time again the importance of respecting the child and following their lead. I’m so glad my own children got to experience it.
I get such a kick out of taking a fly-on-the-wall approach and simply documenting, but I’m also happy to snap some posed photos too.
I feel very fortunate to have kept such a good relationship with CMS. I’m still connected through social media to several of the teachers that I worked with, many of whom are still teaching. I’m thrilled every time they ask me to photograph for them!
