Fall Couple’s Session / Birmingham Photographer / Valencia and Stone

Some of you may remember these photographs from last fall from one of of my most memorable couple’s sessions. Valencia and Stone blew me away with their expression of raw emotion! The session started early in the morning. We knew we’d be photographing in an open field with little shade so we met between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. It was a rather quick session, 60 minutes approximately.  The session started off slowly. Stone was much more reserved in front of the camera than Valencia. My advice was to focus on her and he did exactly that! I couldn’t have asked for more intimacy. He literally nuzzled into her and directed all his attention on her. I think it made him more comfortable and the photos have this amazing energy as a result. LOVE LOVE LOVE is what we all felt in that hour-long session. I love how it translated through the photographs.

I have a family session scheduled for Valencia and Stone’s family in October. Be on the lookout for more photographs of these two beautiful people! I’ll add a link when I can.

I really want to add, I know I use the word “love” a lot when I blog. I also use it a lot when I talk about photography. You guys, this truly is my dream. I am living my dream-to be a photographer, owning my own business, creating art. I hope you love what you do too, so much that you overuse the word and sound unintelligent because let’s admit it, it’s nearly impossible to think of another word that packs such a punch.
