I have grown to love this couple! I photographed their engagement session in the fall of 2018, which you can see here. https://bangimages.com/pizitz-building-avondale-park-engagement/ They had an intimate, wedding ceremony at the end of April. I have really enjoyed getting to know them. I had the pleasure of meeting their families too on this beautiful day.
There was an indoor ceremony with about 20 guests, the most gorgeous flowers, and enough food for everyone to eat at least three times.
While taking outdoor photographs of the beautiful bride and groom, we found Sal’s initials, which he had written in the cement when his family built their home; I loved the comparison of Sal, the boy with his head full of dreams, and Sal, the man who had just married the love of his life.
One of the wonderful things about their relationship is laugher. They are genuinely happy together and entertained by one another.
I am thankful for the opportunity to photograph both their engagement session and their wedding ceremony. I look forward to a third event, their wedding reception, which will take place this summer. I can’t wait to meet even more of their family and friends!
