Photo Delivery Guide: From Session to Gallery | Bang Images

Photo Session

First of all, if you follow me, you’ve seen a few different phrases used when describing our time together as photographer and subject. Photo session, portrait session, photo shoot-they’re all the same. This is your photo delivery guide: from session to gallery.

When you book a photo session with Bang Images, it will be either one or two hours in length. One hour will be at one location and with two hours you’ll have the option of photographing in two locations and having up to two clothing changes.

After our Photo Session

I will immediately upload your images to my computer’s hard drive when I get home. One reason is because I want them saved in more than one place, but I also just can’t wait to see them!

I’m always eager to start editing your photos! It’s almost as much fun as the actual photo session. It takes between two and three weeks to edit them all. I put a lot of effort into choosing the best of what we’ve created together. I also make adjustments to the contrast, exposure, and color of each image.

The Photo Gallery

When your images are ready, I’ll create an online gallery for you to see them. I get so excited to share them with you! I will send you a link via email that will include a password. If you purchased all of your files when booking, your gallery will be downloadable. If you purchased 10, 20, or 30 images (a.k.a. files), while viewing your gallery, you’ll mark your favorites with hearts. Those favorites will be added to a folder. It may take several visits to your gallery for you to decide on your final selections. When you do, just email me to let me know you’re ready to receive your download link for your favorites.

Receiving Your Files

If you’ve marked your favorites and messaged me to let me know you’re ready to download them, I’ll prepare your link. Within 48 hours of reading your message, you’ll receive a link to download your favorite images.

Securing Your Files

You put a lot of time, effort, and money into creating beautiful, lasting memories. Once you download your files, you have one very important task! Save them so that you will always have them. You want to be able to print them, create an album, or use them online. I suggest saving them on an external flash drive, external hard drive, or your preferred method of online storage. I think it’s important that they don’t just sit on your computer. Things happen to computers. They crash, get viruses, age and stop working. Your photos are important and should be backed up properly.

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this post about my process of photos, from session to gallery. My aim is to inform you. I want you to be comfortable with my process because I would love to work with you! Please contact me for more information.
