Isn’t it everyone’s dream to say that they love what they do for a living? I’ve been really fortunate in both of my careers, my previous one in teaching and now in photography. I rarely don’t want to “go to work,” because this is what life’s all about, isn’t it? Making yourself and others happy? Doing something meaningful? I think so.
Documenting this intimate Botanical Gardens wedding was right up my alley. I was requested to create more candid photographs than posed and to enjoy myself! PERFECTION!
This was a day that two families became one. They were a happy bunch and full of life, and so incredibly fun to be around. I loved their positive energy and relaxed vibe. And would you just look at how lovely all of their colors complement one another; I adore how they pop! We were made for each other!
It was very important to the parents that the children were a big part of the day. Their love and respect for them was evident. The three girls walked the bride down the aisle and their son played a recorder for them to signal the start of the procession. Every detail was well thought out and meaningful.
