Birmingham Photographer / Rainbow Wall on Morris Avenue / Kelsey

FILED IN: Individuals

Kelsey is sweet and has a laugh that commands your attention! She’s also the coolest dog walker you’ll ever meet. She adores animals and she loves her job spending time with them every day. She’s also incredible in front of the camera and a writer. Check out this being of many talents in these colorful portraits!

In case you didn’t know, there’s a new mural in Birmingham and it’s a long, vibrant wall of color by local visionary Marcus Fetch; you can see his company Redpath Creative here https://www.redpathcreative.com. This beautiful mural was completed just in time for Pride Month, which is recognized in June. And just when you thought Morris Avenue couldn’t get any more crowded with photographers, well, think again!

I love seeing a person’s personality come through in photographs. It’s my goal to document not one emotion, but several. I love a great, somewhat serious expression, but I also get a kick out of seeing and hearing someone erupt with laughter. When I create photographs, there are a few things I hope to achieve- real emotion is at the top of the list.

You can’t help but laugh out loud when you see all the wonderful color and think of all the hands that went into make it a reality; it just makes you happy. It’s such an awesome addition to our city! And it’s a fantastic backdrop for outdoor portraits. Look at these bold photographs! (Of course, I can never resist a few black and white versions!)

Kelsey, you were FUN! I love the contrast of the black and white against the color backdrop and the dramatic black and white versions too!

The trains really add to the whole experience, with their grit, and clickity clack and clang, and smell. You are definitely in the city of Birmingham and you love it! Now go shoot or contact me and we’ll set up a session! Art needs to happen here. It’s pretty magical!
