You know what’s great? An expectant mother with a happy toddler playing in the water and me nearby with a camera! I’ve had many portrait sessions in the water, but this was my first family maternity session. These two radiated sheer joy. Every once in a while you are lucky enough to spend time with people that are the epitome of positive energy and you part ways feeling uplifted. That was exactly what happened. They were happy from the moment we saw each other in the parking lot to the time we waved goodbye.
Mom and daughter played and interacted as if I weren’t there most of the time, which is the exact recipe for great photos in my book. Natural interactions among family members allow me to create authentic, lifestyle photographs!
